Tony Smith - Freelance Researcher and Writer
Morsum Magnificat, the Morse magazine (MM)
[Published 1986 to 2004]
MM was an international journal specialising in the history and practice of telegraphic communication from early Victorian times to the present day.
Originally published in Dutch, I joined the original editors as a co-founder of the English language edition, which had readers and contributors around the world.
A total of 89 issues were published over 18 years, with input from me, originally as Editor and then as Consultant Editor, until 1998. They contain well over 4,000 pages covering all aspects of Morse telegraphy past, present, and future; and a consolidated index is available to help in finding subjects or articles of particular interest.
